Let’s Study Na Ne Ni No Nu! なねにのぬ勉強しましょう!

The next line we will be going over is the “n” line in Hiragana.

な- (na) The な sound is made by combining the “n” sound with the “ah” vowel sound. It is similar to the “na” sound in the English word “naughty”.

NA-hiragana

ね- (ne) The ね sound is made by combining the “n” sound with the “eh” vowel sound. It is similar to the “ne” sound in the English word “neighbor”.

NE-hiragana

に- (ni) The に sound is made by combining the “n” sound with the “ee” vowel sound. It is pronounced like the English word “knee”.

NI-hiragana

の- (no) The の sound is made by combining the “n” sound with the “oh” vowel sound. It is pronounced like the English word “no”.

NO-hiragana

ぬ- (nu) The ぬ sound is made by the combining the “n” sound with the “oo” vowel sound. It is pronounced like the English word “new”.

NU-hiragana
